[Premium-Rx] Faraday Shield.....To Be, or Not to Be?? Need advice, please!

Hi Ed,
For what it's worth, I don't think a totally screened room would be worth 
the effort or expense.  Good AC line filtering and surge suppression is a 
plus, of course, as is a good RF and earth ground. Beyond that, any RF 
noise is likely to come in on your antennas and not from residual leakage 
through metal gaskets in metal doors and ventilation ducts. RF-proof rooms 
are normally used where no RF can be tolerated, as in laboratory 
environments, which is not the case for listening rooms involving receivers 
and transceivers.
