Gents

First a very merry Christmas eve to you.

I have bought a few 37 pin connectors (male) to plug into my
Harris 590 back side to bring out audio and other things.

However on closer look my Harris has a flat pin in one female hole
of each of the 37 pin connectors on back.

My question is do I remove them and how do I remove them
or do I snip a pin on the new male connectors?

My thought is that the engineers that did this orginally realized there would be
2 male 37 pin cables in the back and they needed to differentiate between the top one
and the bottom. So they added blocking pins on each female 37 in different spots to keep
the average government worker from making a mistake.

Since I am not a government worker I don't need to be that sloppy.

So first I would like to pull the pins out of the 37 pin connectors on the radio
so any clues?

Thanks, Bill
