[Premium-Rx] Compact Prem-Rx?

Ah, the gentle push of a padded glove... so much more refreshing than the
cattle prod approach used by the Neanderthal overseers of several other
lists I could name. Well done, Greg.

Now, an on-topic question:   Are the half-rack-sized Cubics pretty much the
only choice when it comes to compact size? And if so, what is their
reliability and performance track record and strong/weak points? I'm sort of
casting about for something less than 19" wide, and don't know of much out
there. Unfortunately, I know diddly about Cubics, having mostly Harris and
Racal experience.

Gentlemen:

The present thread started with a marginal discussion of FCC receiver
inventory then drifted to: stealth vehicles, government wastefulness, the
pathetic situation of the VOA, a bombing in the Hyatt Hotel in Berlin, 911,
and commercially available non-premo receivers.

I fully recognize how easy it is to drift from one area of interest to
another, however, I think we need to redirect our attention back toward the
primary purpose of our Premium-Rx List.
