Why not take a look in the archives of the group? There is a wealth of information there; keep in mind the rig was meant essentially for unattended operation--was used in droves at Wullenweber arrays, especially in the USA and Canada.

I'm based in the UK and have been offered a Cubic 3030 at what seems to be a reasonable price.
I've had a brief look at the receiver, it's clean and seems to be functioning OK.
 
I currently have a Racal RA1792 and I'm looking for opinions as to how the 3030 would compare to that, before I make a decision to purchase.
