If you can find an old Hallicrafters SP-44 you could use that. It had a
455KHz IF input and was used with the SX-42 and possibly SX-62.

Subject: [Premium-Rx] panadapter/sdu for harris rf-590?

Hello all, my harris RF-590 has two IF outputs (filtered and unfiltered)
both at 455Khz. I would imagine that the unfiltered could be used for a
panapator/spectrum display unit. Does anyone know if harris ever made
such a thing (455Hkz) that "went" with the 590? Or perhaps made a
generic panadapter for other lines of radios?

Or does anyone have a "favorite" panadaptor? I have a heath SB620 which
I have yet to resurrect, but wanted to know about others. I know the WJ
folks are just plain spoiled when it comes this this stuff!

Eugene
