[Premium-Rx] 590H / xmitter?

hello all,

Recently acquired a Harris RF-590H and thought it might be nice to get a matching transmitter. I believe that the RF-1310 was the matching rig for that? Primarily, I am looking to use one rig to change freq on both and keep the freq synchronized. Also want the Rx to go into stdby mode when I key the Tx.

Does anyone know if I must find a 1310H or can any 1310 work with a 590H? Also, I know that there is an amp and power supply (and antenna tuner) that match this (thanks Bill S.), but they all get $$$. Anyone have experience using some other standard run of the mill linear amp with a 1310? With only .5W output, does that limit the options for an amp?

Also, a friend suggested I look into the RF-230 transceiver...Can anyone point me to information on this radio and also any pictures?
