Well this is the topic that got me enlisted here!
After many trials and lots of mistakes I am using white and blue super leds mounted with silicon glue on the top of the crystal.
Be vry carefull to spase the leds evenly and dont spill any silicon on the "face" of the display.
use the 5v power supply to power the LED's
what have you done about the heat?
