I support Adams idea of collecting data to help document the threat posed by
BPL. However, right now this is more of a political than technical issue,
it seems...

So, if you have two minutes to spare and you're concerned about how
Broadband
over Power Lines will affect you, visit:

Click on the BPL link. This takes you to a ONE-PAGE form that takes almost
no time to fill out. All you need to provide is your name and e-mail
address, then fill in the "comments" field. About a paragraph is all that's
needed to convey your opinion on this issue.

All users of shortwave spectrum (government, military, ham, commercial, even
marine) will suffer horrendous interference if BPL is deployed--even in a
limited way. Hams and others have occupied this portion of the E-M spectrum
for a full century in some cases, yet our concerns are falling on deaf ears
(literally).

For a recent discussion of BPL, see:

Thanks and 73,
