I have 2 NRD-220's. I got one to play with and try to change it to the
ARRL TTY broadcast frequencies. I've been looking at the schematics and
see that 1)the CFL-271 RF TUNE card will require retuning the BPF to
the new frequencies 2)the 4 VCO's on CGA-153 LOOP 1 and CGA-154 LOOP 2
cards will have to be retuned to the desired frequencies.
The 455KHz filter is on the CAF-340 RF AMP card and is 300Hz.
One other thing is, if you're using the rcvr alone without digital
selective calling equipment the dip switch S1-3 on the CMF-99 DSC DEMO
card needs to set to the ON position. This will enable the rcvr to
continue scanning automatically 20 seconds after receiving a signal.
