[Premium-Rx] MSR-2 Synthesizer Trouble

Are there any MSR-2 drivers out there that have fiddled with the synthesizer 
much?

I can't get 1, 10, 11, 20 or 21 mhz to lock despite heroic, albeit possibly 
misdirected efforts.  On a good run, every other mhz band will lock, and the 
ones that don't start making some noise as if they want to lock, but I run out 
of slug travel.  Worked OK 15 years ago the last time I did it, but we've both 
gotten older, and I'm afraid, not much better with time...

And if anyone can ID where exactly to pick up the control line for the 
divider board (point used to measure synthesizer tune up voltage) I'm having a hard 
time picking it up, or the voltage ain't varying on it as it should (I've been 
cheating and peaking with a sig generator, listening for lock, a few hours of 
that will make you crazy).

And last but not least anyone know a good mechanic for said beast? - I may 
surrender.
