[Premium-Rx] Fitting FREQ STD 9442 in RACAL RA1792

Hi,

Does anyone know how to install a 5MHz FREQUENCY STD 9442/12 (with the round valve style base) in a late model (BACKLIT + BITE + LSI) RACAL RA1792?  Is it safe to just plug it in, or do I have to move a link first?  Any advice would be appreciated.
