[Premium-Rx] Proposed Policy Change for the Premium-Rx List

I would like to see such posts allowed.

For my part I acquired a ITT Mackay 3020A in DOA condition. I cant afford to purchase such a
receiver in pristine fully working condition. I have been able, through members of the list to
locate parts for this 30 year old Premium Receiver. If it wasn't for the input from the list
members, this receiver would be on the junk pile, not on its way back to top condition.

I have been able to locate a complete set of PC boards, a Manual, and frequency selecting
switches. And all this within one week. The kit has yet to arrive in Australia, where I live, but
without help regarding commercial companies that still support these receivers, and members who
still have "some kit in storage somewhere" and offering at very reasonable cost (less than $10 for
a PC board, couldn't buy the parts for that!) I can't see this kind of help as some form of
"commercial get rich quick at the expense of list members" ploy.

I welcome it, and am glad to have received help in the past.
