Yep, the 8716 has much better RF shielding.

If I'm not mistaken (again) the regular 8716 and 8718 are almost the same,
except for the rear panel connectors.  One uses primarily BNC connectors,
the other has screw terminals and a few BNC's.

The front panels of the two regular models are identical.  Could there be
the equivalent in the MFP versions?

Does anyone know of any other differences in the 8716 vs 8718?  All I
remember at the moment is that I have two of the BNC style but the manual
for the other one.  I seem to recall something about "tempest" relating to
interference prevention or whatever.  I'm using an old 15 inch monitor at
the moment -- but short on memory chips -- of the gray cerebral cortex type.
