[Premium-Rx] Plessey 2280 Receiver Available

Hello All

I am thinning down my collection very severely and have decided to let 
my Plessey 2280 go, as I have a 2282. The only real difference between 
the two is in  the 82 has a lighted BFO control.
Neither receiver  is worth what one chap tried hard to sell on ebay 
recently for $4700.00, Iin my honest opinion, even in mint shape. They 
are good rigs, as good or better than anything WJ made, or Racal.
The one I am letting go is essentially mint. Rather than turn our august 
forum into an auction arena, please contact me offline at 
 machine.age at juno.com. I will list the rig on ebay Sunday nite, 26 
October if no interest.
I will give you a  hint on my bottom line, its  less than half what that 
bloke thought it was worth.
