Regarding the R-390A, I like the set but can't take the ringing of the filters.

I wrote up a procedure to convert the R-390 IF deck for drop in service in a
R-390A frame.  Now I have two IF's, one for pleasent audio, and one for DX
(however the 390A IF has never been back in the frame since I got hooked on the
390 IF sound).
