I got this Rx at a hamfest about a year ago and finally have some time to try to fix it. I knew it was deaf but couldn't resist it, so I broke down and bought it. I bought it because the front control panel layout and coverage was orthagonal to my requirements. I think the front end FETs are shot and I'm trying to find some replacements, so if anyone has or knows where I can get a few 3SK73, I'd be delighted. The schematic I have is a copy of a copy many times over and difficult read so I wouldn't mind finding a manual or a better copy of the schematic. It was made in Japan in 1983 and marketed by Electra a division of Masco Crop of Indiana. It cover 10KHz to 30MHz with a 10 channel microprocessor controlled memory. That makes it a premium rx, right? hi hi hi.... I'm guessing that it's not a great performer but it's small, 15x5x10 and weighs about 20 lbs. First IF is 40.455 and 2nd is 455 KHz. Any help with the FETs or papers appreciated.
