[Premium-Rx] Source For Mackay Parts??

HI All,

While it was powered off, but still connected to the AC line, my
prized MSR5050A decided to start a fire on its power-supply board. In
fact, it burned a 1/4-in hole all the way through the pc board. The
hole is at the junction of a 470-ohm resistor and a 47 uf/50 V
capacitor. The reason for this failure has me stymied. The 470-ohm
resistor feeds 16 VAC from the power transformer to the cap. The
470-ohm resistor is in perfect shape, so the huge current it took to
blow the 1-A line fuse certainly didn't come through it.

Anyway, does any know of either a source for Mackay parts, or a
factory contact at whoever took over the Mackay line, or have a
clunker with a good power supply? It looks pretty dicey trying to
repair the board, so I'd like to get my hands on another one. Any help
or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks In Advance....
....Bob
