Not quite sure whether it's a sign of me being a real engineer or just a 
sucker for new toys....
but thanks for the thought:-)
I have to agree on the TV programs but, having had this thing on the bench 
all day with a scope hanging on the output...
I can definitely confirm that a 10Mhz sinewave doesn't make for very exciting 
viewing either:-)
My "passion" for frequency standards started with not being sure on the 
calibration of my original crystal unit.
With what I've spent since I could probably have had that calibrated every 
month for life...
but it wouldn't have been half as much fun:-)
