[Premium-Rx] Racal Rubidium Frequency Standard

Hi Nigel... I have an FRS myself. Bought separately. Keep in mind that
Rubidium standards have to be calibrated-preferably to 60kHz WWVB /or
equivalent. You need a charting 60kHz receiver to run a frequency
comparison test that takes about 72 hours. I'll see what I can find about
mine... mostly, what I have is a loose set of instructions for hooking up
the FRS, and some comments on the calibration procedure. And no, I don't
understand why an atomic frequency standard could ever need calibrating-but
that's what I had sort-of explained to me. The guy also sold cesium beam
standards-which do NOT need calibration-but DO burn out. That's why I chose
rubidium-and a Tracor 900S WWVB receiver. I'll look for my papers.

P.S. I have my serious doubts about your WWVB capabilities from there, but
perhaps there's something similar?
