Paul,
Nothing beats a little helper in the shack. Just make sure he learns the
soldering iron is a hot thing. I had my son put his lips across a 9 volt
battery to understand tricity. My guy
likes the spectrum analyzer the best.
Last night he mentioned the base line looked like grass. My response was,
that's correct it is called grass.
Then you need to have somebody sell all your toys when you get too old to
lug them to the flea markets.   fc

Hi Fellows,

I realize that our main goal with this group is discuss radio activity, but
every once in a while, a good human interest story could probably slip in
without too much discomfort. Here is the reason why it takes me a little
longer than most, to complete some projects. Have a look at my assistant,
last night discovering that pushing these little button things make this box
make funny noises.

I'll let you know how I make out with my LCD lighting project when I make
some progress. Also I still want to change out that power supply. Even with
the taps changed that heatsink is too hot to touch and in my books, that's
50C which means the silicon junctions will be much hotter which is too hot
for them to live long healthy lives.
