Hi to all members!
The mixer heart of the 651s or the 718u  -is composed of 3 j-fetsper leg 2n4417 in paralel.I have the 651s-1 for more then
25 years now and still good. I have a spare a-6 unit here that i can spare. 
u310 or cp 643 of cryslalonics are vy good for that application.
In mine 718-u1 radio the rf was replaced with cp-643 and the 
resuls were much betterthan the original (i.p.  imd and etc)
As frank wrote heat the tiny screws gently and they will open. the rf fets are those tiny white devices (2) next to the filter. if you need more info pse post .
