Many manufacturers produce there own version of one of the standard milspec
connectors. They keep the std spec that describes the shell and
arrangement, and put there own prefix in place of the MS number. This
sounds suspiciously like that.
The key part is the 16J10-6S. To match it to the std number would be a lot
easier if you had a pix of it. I assume it is a size 16 shell (about 1"
across the circular part) with 6 contacts that are sockets.
Is it a bayonet or threaded plug, crimp or solder you need? There is Mil C
26500 series connector that might be the one.
In trying to find my way thru the mil specs on connectors, I found
terminology is critical! The connector itself will be classed as a
receptacle of a plug, and the contacts will be classified as pin or socket.
I assume you need the plug/pin to match your chassis receptacle/socket???
If you have more info I'll try to dig deeper - a pix would do the trick.
