[PPRAANet] MegaFest cancellation question

I noticed in other ham radio club communications that our MegaFest gas 
been cancelled.

I went to the PPRAA web site and noticed this prominently displayed:

*MegaFest Cancelled*

*Due to a compilation of circumstances the PPRAA Board of Directors has 
reluctantly decided to cancel MegaFest for 2025.*

This leaves me to wonder why, Why, WHY was this not presented to a 
larger portion of the membership by sending an email to this reflector???

For a communications outfit, this is an extreme lack of communication.

Could someone provide some insight to at least a couple of the 
circumstances mentioned?
