All,

  Mike requested a visit today so there I went.  He's doing pretty well, but it would probably be good to hold off visiting for a while.  He's in a lot of pain and it's hard for him to stay awake currently.  He'll be released in a day or two and will return later for surgery as required.  As usual, I'll keep all you (FOM), friends of Mike, posted on the reflector.  He's very grateful to all of you for your friendship and of your concern (I am too).
  Mike enjoys texting and emails.
