[PPRAANet] K0ATV, before me

I had looked mine up 19 years ago (April 2004) after having been granted 
NØABC in January 1998.

Monte S. Gurwit, an Extra class licensee, his last license period was 
Nov 1984 - 1994, but he died in 1993.

I found the basic info on good ol' QRZ.com - the 1993 Callbook Data page 
(link below).

 From there, I had found a three full page article about Monte and his 
time at WTVT / Tampa Television Company. I had printed it out back then 
(it has the date (and URL) in the footer of the printout, so it wasn't 
my memory that revealed when it was!), so the URL was easily typed back 
into a browser window. It's really quite an interesting story, and also 
fascinating to find out about a / your call sign's previous owner.

I hadn't read this stuff in quite a few years! Thanks for bringing the 
topic up, Derek!!
