[PPRAANet] COS Century Link Question

   The power is out at my house right  now,
 i  a UPS  on my COS Century Link Fiber Optic system and it all still works.

   i have installed a battery back up here at my house for my Modems so i can still access the Century Link Fiber system when the power goes out, (at least for my path to the Central Station).

  If someone cuts the cable, of course, it won't work.

   The COS Century Link Fiber Optic system might have a battery back up for my area or it's source and amplifiers might not have been effected by the power outage along my fiber route.
   No way to tell which parts of their system might have been in the effected power outage area, but it all kept working for me.
i am using my laptop computer with its internal battery.
