Recently earth.nullschool (one of my favorite websites) has updated
their site to display the auroral oval.  The estimated auroral oval is
updated every 30 minutes.  see
https://earth.nullschool.net/#2023/06/16/2355Z/space/surface/level/anim=off/overlay=aurora/orthographic=-100.82,-1.13,588/loc=-117.537,34.394
for the display from June 16.  You can rotate the globe to view the
Aurora over Antarctica.

You can also see where smoke and forest fires are, by viewing
Particulates <10 µM.  See
https://earth.nullschool.net/#current/particulates/surface/level/overlay=pm10/orthographic=-99.40,40.52,385
for current display.  And no, all of Africa isn't on fire -- that's
probably sand.

The basic website is at https://earth.nullschool.net/ -- the menu is in
the bottom left corner.  Info about this website is accessible at
https://earth.nullschool.net/about.html
