[PPRAANet] SOTA Alert

Hi Everyone. Happy New Year!

 

This SOTA Alert is for tomorrow, Saturday, January 7th.  Chris, W0CNX, and
I, KD8EQA plan to activate Peak 9852, approximately 18:30z (11:30am local).
We'll be on 146.52 MHz.  This will be Chris's first SOTA Activation!!  If
you're able to monitor and chase us that would be great. I'm hoping you can
help make this a memorable event for Chris.  Peak 9852 is located in the Wet
Mountains, just southwest of Beulah, so we should have a good line-of-sight
to Pueblo, Pueblo West, the central and eastern part of Colorado Springs,
surrounding areas like Peyton or Fountain, and possibly more northern
communities like Guffy, Florrisant, and Cotopaxi.  Hope to get you in our
logs tomorrow!
