I'm sorry to hear that you are missing the battery.  

I opened the box during the business portion of the meeting.  I made sure
that everything went back in before I closed it.  I remember the battery
going into a cardboard compartment inside the box.  When I closed it up, the
battery was in the box.

At the meeting last Wednesday evening, I won the Yaesu FT-4X Transceiver. 
When I got home I opened the box to see just what I won. To my dismay, I
found the battery was missing. Is there a battery floating around out there
that is missing a transceiver? 

Maybe Mike, WV7T might know of one.
