[PPRAANet] Timeline for call sign license plates

As several people suggested, the DMV office at Airport and Powers will process an Amateur Radio Call Sign Plate application on site. The lady who helped me said it was the first time she had done it using their new software. My fee was $78 for the year. She did not ask for an alternative ID, because mine had not “flashed red” on her screen. She said the plates would come in the mail in about a week.

I mentioned that the GoG Road office gave me incorrect information, and she said they had a weekly training session for the clerks and she would make sure it was included. I’m still not clear on why you have to go to that particular office to get the plates.
