[PPRAANet] Fw: Lighthouse presentation

Hi,

Sorry for the digression, but why do you suppose that I have NEVER heard 
any mention of ARES on our local or national TV news (NEVER!!!).  Is 
that because the ARES contribution is not considered significant enough 
to be mentioned or are they just prejudice against Amateur Radio?

      ....During the black forest fire disaster, I even heard them 
proclaim that;  "...When all else fails, you can count on local TV to be 
there for you..."  Hay (and justifiably so), I always thought that was 
our line!!!?
