All,

  Well, my recovery at home is doing well.  Barb is taking very good care of me here and I don't have a chance to mess up with her at the helm.
  The surgery was to fix years of damage and old age.   Fusion of L2 through L5 was quite the undertaking,  but they got it done.
  Many thanks to all of you for the kind thoughts and words.  Will be great to be out and about again and thank all of you in person.
