[PPRAANet] Winter Field day weekend HOLY COW!!!!!!!

If you missed the Winter Field Day last weekend at Ellicott you  really 
missed something special. We had a great turnout. Lots of  folks came out, 
Curtis KEØKNG, Raleigh N4HYF, Mike WV7T, Jim KDØKQL, Jim  K3ILC, Virgil NØXRS, 
Ed KCØTBE, John NGØI, and Rich ACØNP. If I  missed someone please forgive me. 
Wow the bands were open like a  dream during the day, and at night with the 
CQWW 160m cw contest. At  night 160m sounded like 20m on the best day. 
Nearly noiseless, stations  everywhere. We now have a microwave and we enjoyed 
warm chili the Raleigh  brought. I forgot to bring in the popcorn, oops! The 
2 heaters brought the  inside temp up to 70 degrees NICE! Both for the new 
rigs were run through  their paces and worked super! The weather could not 
have been better. Huge  numbers of contacts were made!
 
There is a 160m SSB contest the end of February and we will be out  there 
again. Come out and join us!!!
