  I received this information from Michael Lowe yesterday and am sending it out to the best local sources of Amateur Radio Operators that I can think of.  I will also send to Pikes Peak Maker Space as soon as I get their email address.  I hope all of you can visit Michael and enjoy the day at his QTH, swap stuff and swap tall tales of QSO's, QRM, QRP and QRN.  Remember, a bad day on the radio is better than the best day at work!  There is plenty of lead time, so no excuses for missing it will be accepted.

  Greetings to all Ham Radio Operators, Electronics and Electrical Makers, Computer Builders and General  Technical  Enthusiasts  -  We are going to have an old fashioned Tailgate Swap gathering.  You park your car, open the trunk, put a tarp down and spread out your stuff.  Moving on some of your excess and acquiring some that other folks have, that you need.  It will be a good place for meetings.  You might even bring something you are building to show it off, or to find help with a peculiar problem.    We have a long loop driveway, barnyard and a 6 ac. pasture to set up in.  Bring a popup shade tent if you want.  Lots of room, a few deer and rabbits and sadly, a few red ants live there.  Will last until final 2 cars leave.  There will be snacks, sandwiches, drinks available.  Be sure and bring some water for yourself, being outside and all. 
  This is a benefit for the Deep Space Exploration Society (DSES) and the 60ft. Dish it owns in Haswell, down in Kiowa County.  The only charge is $12 per tailgating car - no per person admissions charges.  If you would like to make any donations for DSES work, it would be appreciated, but in no way required.  There is stuff we need to keep the refurbishment moving. Come and have a good time.
