As you are all aware, a horrible earthquake has devastated areas of Nepal. Amateur radio has been playing a very significant role in the response, with operators in India, Europe, and here in the US passing messages. You may hear some of this traffic around 14.205 - 14.215 MHz. A few other frequencies include 7.100, 14.310, 18.160, and 21.360 MHz. It is recommended that we keep these clear for the time being and include a 5 kHz buffer. Some of the media hits mentioning ham radio have been compiled at www.arrl.org/media-hits under April.
