For many of these scams the language is your first clue it's not "the real deal". When they ask you for information they should already have, that is what the scam is after - your passwords and private information. You can check these rather quickly by checking the "properties" information, or, even quicker, if there is a link, hover over the link (don't click it) it will show an address that is different than you expect. For instance the link may be "ARRL.ORG" but when you hover over it (place your cursor over it) it says something different, like "unitdedscammersofguam.org", or just somebody's personal e-mail address or website. Just delete the e-mail - following the link would tell them that your e-mail address is valid and in use (that is sellable information). Cheers - Terry N0VCI
