Reminder. PPRAA, open, 10 meter net this evening 7:00PM (01:00 UTC) on
28.400 USB (+ or - some based on frequency use)

The net helps each of us become more familiar with our HF rigs and the
world of HF in general.

Because each rig is different, each voice is different, each antenna and
location are different, the net provide meaningful feedback to help you
optimize your station. The net focuses on enjoying radio first and
foremost, helping operators gain a better understand of their rigs, and
how the different operating modes react in varying propagation
conditions. I have found that even local propagation varies greatly
from week-to-week and some modes are better than other for clarity but
that too may vary from week-to-week.

Although technicians are restricted to SSB, the net constantly changes
modes back to SSB to allow those with restricted modes to make comments
about their listening experiences.

Based on the experiences over the last 30 weeks (?) of the nets
existence, no matter if you are newly licensed or a 50+ year ham, we
have all gained new understandings of our rigs, propagation, and amateur
radio enjoyment.

73,
Dan
