The WV7T 3E Field Day preps will start tomorrow (Friday) at my home with the
set up of the 2 multi-band multi-mode stations, a 2m FM station, and
associated antennas, as well as checking out logging software programs. We will
operate HF, VHF, and UHF SSB - HF CW - HF RTTY and PSK. It should be fun. We took
1st Place last year and are looking to do it again. We could still use a
couple of additional operators for Saturday. This will be a relaxed event. We
are not working towards high points but in trying out new bands, modes, and
different antennas.
You don't need to be a General or Extra, or have a license at all. Just come
expecting to have fun and learn something new.
Anyone interested in assisting with the set up and/or operating is warmly
welcome.

I have purchased new batteries to operate the 2 main HF stations and charged
the battery for the 2m FM rig.
1) Antennas to be constructed and installed:
Clothes Line Dipole
30 foot ladder vertical
5 band ground mounted mobile vertical
2) Cabling to connect the batteries to the rigs.
3) Coax run for the various antennas.
4) Test antennas and rigs.
5) Install and check out several logging programs.
