I have received a lot of responses to my earlier post on the FCC ruling. Some of the those contacting me feel my questions are much like closing the barn door after the cows have already gotten out and that this is a discussion we should have had a long time ago. I have some new questions to ask and all answers will be included in the January 2007 Zero Beat in addition to those who responded to the earlier question about the ruling.

Do you feel that CW is an outdated mode? Were you one of those who thought it was
time for the Morse code requirement to go? How do you think this will affect those
bands already reserved for CW only? Will the operation of CW versus other modes on HF create a bigger chasm between hams? Do you think the FCC should include a separate license for CW operations?

Any and all responses will be included in the article. Responses to the original question about how you feel about the FCC ruling will also be accepted.

73 as always...
