Hi Pete,
I used to work with a fellow last name of Murray. That was at =
Hewlett-Packard.=20
He told me his father was the founder of Murray Radio. That business =
later became Walker Radio, a wholesale electronics parts house. I don't =
know if they are around anymore.

Subject: [PPRAANet] Murray Radio Co. of Colo. Springs
Hi all,
I just joined the list.
I am interested in any sort of info about a long-gone company called =
Murray
Radio Co. of Colo. Springs. Their address was in the 500 block of W. =
Colo.
Ave.
I have an HF AM xmtr, modulator, and power supply apparently made by =
them. I
think that the HAM that owned them bought them in about 1948. The 3 =
pieces
are in matching metal cases, with gray krinkle finish, and a lid on the =
top
for access to the tubes (I think the cases are Bud brand). The xmtr is a =
6L6
PA, and another tube for a xtal osc., and has plug-in coils for
band-changing (80, 40, and 10 are the coils that I have). They're nicely
made. I will be selling them at the swapfest in June.
Thanks for any info,
Pete N0TDM
