My understanding from the time I was at UCCS is that
they do indeed have a station (Yaesu FT-736, V/UHF
only if I recall correctly).  It used to be under the
guidance of a ham named Don Erickson, but he left the
university just before I started there.  At one time,
there were some faculity (I forget their names at the
moment) who were interested in getting it up and
running again, but that fell through my sophmore year.
 If he's still the Dean of Engineering, it might be
worth checking with Ron Sega.  He's a former astronaut
and has his Tech, I think.
