I will be out of the state after WED. Word is Chairman Harper is
worried about Sun City HOA people. He may try to kill the bill. We
need him to hear it or release it to some other Committee. If not it
will die. We need a big response from Sun City Dist 4 people saying
they favor the bill. But we can't piss him off or he can say he won't
release it to another Committee. Now is a good time to get Senate
President Bee involved to help us.
AND This one.....
Ladies & Gentlemen,
Well we have come too far to fail. I am sure that if we reach a
vote of the Senate we will PASS. We just have to get through the
Committee process. If you live in District #4 or know someone who
lives in that district please call them and tell them to contact
Senator Jack Harper about HB2595.
Senator Jack Harper email: jharper at azleg.gov and phone 602-926-4178.
District #4 includes: Wickenburg, Peoria, Youngtown, El Mirage,
Glendale, Goodyear, Tolleson, Surprise, Buckeye, Litchfield Park,
Avondale, and West Phoenix.
We have the support of the Director of the Arizona Dept of Emergency
Management, Lou Tramell and the Vice-Mayor of Goodyear, Frank
Cavelaria. All we want is a vote on the merits of our request for
"reasonable accommodation". No more, no less.
Best Wishes,
Dan Brown
Mayor

> Hi all,
> We have are starting to have a problem with the Chairman of the
Committee on Government John Harper his email address is
jharper at azleg.gov The
district is Senator for is 4, he is concerned that HOA's in his
district give
him problems. He does't want it read and voted on in his committee. I
think it's best to spread the word to have all the ham's we know start
sending email and writing to him, especially those living in the West
Valley
(District 4). This is our last chance if the bill doesn't make the
committee this week it is dead. We have until this Monday to get as many
emails or letters to him as possiable.
