Hello All
There are two parts to this post....
Does anyone know anything else about the two "No Votes"???????

Ladies & Gentlemen,

My fellow Arizonans. WOW On a bipartisan vote of 56 YES and only 2 No
we have passed the House and it is now on to the Senate.

It is interesting to note that the two No votes were based on those
Representatives bad personal experience with some ham operator or an
antenna issue. As John Lanza, Chairman of ARCA pointed out, it is best
to be nice to everyone, cause you never know when it may come back to
bite you in the a--.

Now is a good time to email your thanks to your Representatives for
their support. (Remember we want to come back next year for help with
the Ham license plates.)

We still have to go through the same process in the Senate. The bill
will be sent over this week for a 1st Reading and then after a one day
delay it will be assigned to a Senate Committee or two. We need to be
in contact with our Senators to remind them to Support this bill.

This link will take you to the Senate Members website which has their
email and phone number. http://www.azleg.gov/MemberRoster.asp?Body=S

We are asking you to Take Action by calling and emailing your Senator.
When we know what Committee(s) we will let you know again who we need to
contact. The reason for your success in the House was because of the
great job you did in making those contacts. Let's work on getting the
same kind of support in the Senate.

Special thanks to John Lanza of ARCA, Tom Fagan of the ARRL, Ingo
Radicke of ARRL Government Liaison, Rick Aldom of ARRL Sec. Emergency
Coordinator, Ted Downing ARCA Liaison, and all the Clubs and
individuals who got us through the House.

 Thank you all,

 Dan Brown NA7DB
 Mayor
 City of Page

PLEASE FORWARD THIS MESSAGE TO ANY ARIZONA CLUBS OR ARIZONA HAMS
