[PCR-1000] Using the PCR-1000 for Satellite

hello to all, been on this reflector for a while now ,just got back from the
sand box with my pcr 1000 listing to what ever I can. I had mine for almost
four yrs now and I do weak signal stuff including sat and listen from time
to time to the birds . I us my sat antenna's and even with them need the
preamp on .have not down loaded any pics from NOAA.but ear stuff.. my two
cents .jerry
