[PCR-1000] repair?

Hi,
a brief look at the schematics show that there could be many places to look 
for errors - but I would look at the switching diodes first. With a DVM in 
diodetest it's easy to find a diode - IF it's a diodeproblem.
Do you have any reception, ie noise at the LF? Can you hear any very signal, 
ie some nearby transmitter?
If you haven't found any schematic let me know and I'll send you one right 
away.
