[PCR-1000] Remote control of radio via Intenet

I just ran across an article in Feb., 2006 issue of QST about TRX 
-Manager being used for RCoIP. That is Remote Control over the Internet. 
And I was wondering if anyone here has used this for scanning remotely? 
It seems to me that if you can control a ham transceiver over the 
internet, you could do the same thing with a scanner. And in particular, 
the PCR-100-1000. I would think that it would lend itself to this type 
of operation very easily.

Has anyone here done this?????
