[PCR-1000] PCR1000 List

I think the lack of interest is due to the fact that ICOM has discontinued
the rcvr, AND any support for it (not that there was ever very much). I
seldom even bother to power it up any longer.

There is an unsubstiated rumor that Yaesu might be bringing out a
super-wideband rcvr by years end. That would be very nice, as the vast
majority of my "gear" is Yaesu, and they have given excellent product
support for decades; even on discontinued products. When I called my
longtime friend at Yaesu about the rumor he just laughed, and said: wait and
see, wait and see.

So I guess, "I wait and see" :-)

Regards, RJ
