[PCR-1000] Can't get ICOM Software to work = USB-converter?

I use Keyspan as well, they have never failed me in any software package. 
That even includes ScanStar which is very sensitive.

Specifically I use several of the USA-19s (the ugly green-white ones sold 
as "pda adaptors") and I have 1 USA-19QW (high speed)

I just wish a mfg would figure out that a 2mb flash drive in the adaptor to 
contain drivers would be very useful :)
