[PCR-1000] Can't get ICOM Software to work

My pcr-1000 is kind of fussy about the comport it talks to occasionally, 
usually I end up moving from the laptop to a regular tower/desktop pc, 
getting it's attention and then I can switch back to the laptop...I only run 
win98 here though...

as for TalkPCR..I haven't used the latest version...you might move back to 
2.3....serials are available....

Replace your Serial cable, it's the only real unknown you have ...everyting 
else is a "black box" literally...
