[PCR-1000] Can't get ICOM Software to work

RJ,

The PCR-1000 will not output any audio in SSB mode if the bandscope
monitor is on (running).

If you have the bandscope display on, Click the "Stop" button.
If this is your problem, then it should then provide audio output.

I can't think of a single operational reason why the developers would
have intentionally designed the radio and/or software to mute the audio
in SSB when the bandscope was on.  The bandscope, constantly outputting
a data stream to the computer for the display, does take quite a bit of
the serial connection's available bandwidth - but the audio goes to the
speaker, and does not conflict with the serial data stream... makes no
sense to me.

It really sound like a hardware or firmware issue. And... it really
seems more like a bug or design flaw.  However, typical of Icom they
will probably never acknowledge this as their problem.

Icom (and their dealers) have probably expended more time answering
support questions about this 'feature' than it would have taken just to
fix or change it.
